From Monsters and Critics.com Formula One Hamburg - Max Mosley said in interview Friday that he will attend the Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo next month. The FIA president is absent from the Spanish GB in Barcelona this weekend and also failed to attend the F1 race in Bahrain earlier this month after being told not to come by the Crown Prince of Bahrain. He is currently in Jordan at the inaugural stage of the World Rally Championship in the country. 'I will be going to the Monaco Grand Prix. I live there,' Mosley told the Autosport Website. 'I only went to one complete Formula One race last year. That was Monaco, and I was at the complete event because I live there.' The 68-year-old Briton has been under fire ever since a News of the World report claiming he paid five prostitutes to engage in sex acts that involved Nazi role-playing. He has been under immense pressure to quit his post as head of motorsport's ruling body in the wake of the sex scandal but has vowed to fight to remain in his job until his current four-year term runs out in 2009. FIA has already announced that it will convene a hearing of its Extraordinary General Assembly in Paris on June 3 when the organization's 222 voting members will decide his fate. © Deutsche Presse-Agentur© Copyright 2007 by monstersandcritics.com.
