Feb 12, 2010, 18:24 GMT
London - The Lotus Formula One team unveiled its T127 car for the upcoming 2010 season Friday at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London.
Lotus last raced in F1 between 1958 and 1994 and the new team is being backed by the owner of the Air Asia airline Tony Fernandes, the Malaysian government and a consortium of Malaysian businessmen.
The driver pairing of Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli were also in London for the launch of the T127 in the legendary green and yellow livery colours used by Lotus back in the 1950s and 1960s.
Loutus is one of four new teams on the grid this season, along with Virgin, Campos Meta and USF1. The 2010 F1 season begins on March 14 with the Bahrain Grand Prix in Sakhir.
