Hamburg - The Red Bull Formula One team and French engine supplier Renault have agreed to renew their partnership for the 2010 season, German paper auto, motor und sport (ams) said on its website on Monday.
The report said that the agreement was reached before the 2009 season finale in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in which Red Bull won from Sebastian Vettel ahead of teammate Mark Webber.
But Red Bull spokeswoman Britta Roeske told German Press Agency dpa that nothing is confirmed yet.
Red Bull won six season races, four of them one-two finishes, and came second in the constructors' title behind Brawn GP. The four-time season winner Vettel was second in the drivers' list behind Brawn's Jenson Button with Webber fourth.
If the renewal is confirmed it will end speculation about an engagement of Mercedes at Red Bull. Ams said such a deal was vetoed by Mercedes partner McLaren until it was not fully clear which role Mercedes will play in the future at Brawn.
