Todt elected new FIA president (Urgent)

Paris - Jean Todt was elected as president of motorsport's ruling body the FIA Friday in a vote by the organization's member clubs. The 63-year-old Frenchman beat former world rally champion Ari Vatanen in the election and replaces outgoing president Max Mosley, who has been in the post since 1993.
