Oct 19, 2007, 16:26 GMT
Sao Paulo - World championship contender Kimi Raikkonen led the way as Ferrari dominated a wet first free practise session for the season-ending Brazilian Formula One Grand Prix.
Raikkonen posted 1 minute 19.580 minutes in light rain on the 4.309-kilometres Interlagos course, with team-mate Felipe Massa second on 1:20.062 minutes.
Like in the past, McLaren-Mercedes took it easy in the day's first session, with championship leader Lewis Hamilton fifth on 1:21.121 minutes and two-time defending champion Fernando Alonso with no timed lap.
The British rookie sensation Hamilton leads the standings with 107 points from Spain's Alonso (103) and the Finn Raikkonen (100) heading into what promises an exciting final race on Sunday.
Another practise session was set for later Friday, with qualifying on Saturday.
