Hamilton quickest in practice at Magny-Cours

Magny-Cours, France - Championship leader Lewis Hamilton was quickest in the final practice session Saturday ahead of qualifying for the Formula One French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours.
The McLaren-Mercedes driver registered a time of 1 minute 14.843 seconds for the 4.411-kilometre circuit, 0.063 seconds faster than Ferrari's Felipe Massa.
Finland's Kimi Raikkonen was third fastest in the second Ferrari.
Hamilton heads the drivers' standings with 58 points after seven of 17 races. McLaren team-mate and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso lies second on 48 points, followed by Massa on 39 and Raikkonen on 32 points.
