Hamilton leads the way in first free practise

Barcelona - McLaren-Mercedes rookie Lewis Hamilton led the way Friday in the first free practise session for Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
The 22-year-old Briton, who shares the lead in the drivers' standings with teammate Fernando Alonso and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen on 22 points, clocked one minute 21.880 seconds on the 4.655 kilometre-long course.
Alonso and Raikkonen had the second and third fastest times, followed by BMW-Sauber's Robert Kubica and Brazilian Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari.
Sunday's race is the fourth of 17 season races.
