Schumacher second quickest in free training at Monza

Monza, Italy - Ferrari's Michael Schumacher was second quickest in Friday's second free practise session ahead at Monza of Sunday's Italian Formula One Grand Prix with only BMW Sauber test driver Sebastian Vettel managing a faster time.
Vettel, who was also quickest in the first session, registered a time of 1 minute 22.631 seconds for the 5.793-kilometre circuit, 0.507 seconds faster than seven-time world champion Schumacher, who is expected to give details of his retirement after Sunday's race.
Brazilian Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari was third fastest in 1:23.138 minutes with test driver Alexander Wurz fourth in a Williams.
Fernando Alonso, defending world champion and current leader in the drivers' standings, was eighth fastest.
Only 12 of the 29 drivers took part in the first session with Alonso and Schumacher among those failing to make an appearance on the track.
Alonso leads Schumacher in the drivers' championship by 12 points with four races remaining in the season.
