Kelly Pavlik v Bernard Hopkins tonight: Will the undefeated record survive?
By April MacIntyre Oct 19, 2008, 1:07 GMT

The undefeated World Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik (34-0) goes head-to-head tonight with former world champion Bernard Hopkins.
The smart money claims Pavlik is unstoppable and will defend his undefeated record, but fans of Hopkins say if anyone is capable to end the winning streak of Pavlik, its him.
This career-defining fight puts everything on the line for both fighters. But only one of them will remain unstoppable. Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik (34-0, 30 KOs), is the reigning WBC, WBO and Ring Magazine middleweight world champion. His opponent is legendary middleweight Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins (48-5-1, 32 KOs).

Hopkins knows this could be the fight that rewrites boxing history.
Pavlik, 26, is looking for more than a knockout against Bernard Hopkins. He is looking to end Hopkins' career in the non-titled bout. Pavlik faces Hopkins, 43, at 170 pounds in a 12-round fight at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J which is a PPV event available to DirecTV customers here: LINK
"Bernard is a legend," said Pavlik. "I want my legacy to be great, also."
Getting the KO on Hopkins will be daunting. The Philadelphia boxer (48-5-1) has never been knocked out.
HBO pay-per-view will televise the card starting at 9 p.m. The earliest the main event will start is 11.
