Indian cricket team returns home

Mumbai, Jan 8 (IANS) The Indian cricket team returned here early Monday from South Africa after their defeat in the one-day and Test series there. The team lost the one-day series 0-4 and the Test series 1-2. However, the Rahul Dravid-led side made history by winning the first ever Test on South African soil, in Johannesburg. India will now play four one-day internationals each against the West Indies and Sri Lanka at home. The first match against the West Indies is in Nagpur Jan 18. The season also includes the World Cup in the West Indies in March-April. © 2007 Indo-Asian News Service
