Mumbai, July 13 (IANS) All the matches of the one-day triangular series involving India, hosts Sri Lanka and South Africa will now be played in Colombo after the Dambulla leg has been scrapped.
Indian cricket board secretary Niranjan Shah said Thursday that all the matches would now be played at R. Premadasa Stadium and Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
According to the original itinerary, the first four matches of the series were to be played in the central Sri Lankan city of Dambulla, about 150 km from Colombo, and a warm-up match in Kurunegala, between Colombo and Dambulla.
