Toronto, ON - Montreal Alouettes running back Jarrett Payton earned Offensive Player of the Week honors for the CFL's Week 11.
Payton, a unanimous selection, rushed for 119 yards and posted career-highs with three touchdowns and 21 carries as Montreal routed B.C., 32-14, last Sunday. The son of NFL Hall-of-Famer Walter Payton is averaging 6.2 yards a carry this season.
Defensive back Kahlil Carter of Toronto was selected as Defensive Player of the Week. Carter posted seven tackles and had an 82-yard interception return for a touchdown as the Argos topped Hamilton, 35-22.
Nate Curry of Hamilton was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Curry averaged 27.3 yards per kickoff return against Toronto, including a 60-yard run on a third-quarter kick return.
Edmonton's Kamau Peterson garnered Canadian Player of the Week. The fleet wideout hauled in six passes for 117 yards in the Esks' 20-17 loss to Calgary. Peterson leads Edmonton with 641 yards on 49 catches and five scores this year.
