Montreal, QC - Anthony Calvillo threw for 354 yards and one touchdown on 30-of-44 passing to lead Montreal over Hamilton, 27-9, in Week 9 action from Molson Stadium.
Elijah Thurmon caught six balls for 102 yards and a score for the Alouettes (5-3), who won their fourth straight game and moved within a point of first- place Winnipeg in the East Division. Kerry Watkins added eight receptions for 97 yards, Jarrett Payton rushed nine times for 74 yards and Marcus Brady also ran for a score.
Jason Maas threw for 141 yards on 10-of-18 completions for the Tiger-Cats (1-7), who sport the worst record in the CFL and its worst offense. Nick Setta was 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts, while Jesse Lumsden was held to 35 rushing yards on seven carries.
An 11-yard Setta field goal with 6:23 left in the first put the Ticats on the board, then Damon Duval nailed one from 27 yards out to tie the score on the final play of the first quarter.
Maas threw a ball behind Lumsden, and his kick sent the ball out of the end zone on Hamilton's next drive, giving the Als a 5-3 lead early in the second, and Duval was good from 37 yards out for an 8-3 game.
Setta connected from 18 yards to bring the Cats within 8-6, and Brady's one- yard plunge put Montreal up 15-6 with 3:35 left in the half.
Calvillo connected on a 15-yard strike to Thurmon alone in the right corner of the end zone with four seconds to play, and Montreal took a 22-6 lead into the break.
Duval added a 34-yard make with 2:25 to go in the third for a 25-6 game, and Setta equalized 50 seconds into the fourth with his third of the contest, from 48 yards.
A pair of Montreal singles on Duval misses from 44 and 82 yards later in the quarter rounded out the scoring.

Calvillo passed for 239 yards in the first half alone...In Week 10, Montreal heads to Vancouver to square off with the B.C. Lions, and Hamilton hosts Toronto.
