Toronto, ON - Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo and Toronto Argonauts safety Orlondo Steinauer were among the CFL's top players for Week 3 of the 2007 season.
Calvillo earned offensive honors and reached a milestone in Montreal's 29-20 victory over Hamilton. The veteran completed 27-of-37 passes, including each of his first 13, for 310 yards with three touchdowns and also became the fourth quarterback in league history to eclipse 50,000 career passing yards.
Steinauer matched a career best with three interceptions in Toronto's 48-15 rout of Calgary to earn this week's defensive award. He also registered three tackles.
The top special teams player and top Canadian also went to Argonauts. Michael Fletcher's block of a punt that led to a touchdown earned him the special teams award, while linebacker Kevin Eiben recorded four tackles with two fumble recoveries and an interception to take home the Canadian honor.
