Eskimos sign Morgan, Samuels

Edmonton, Alberta - The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent defensive backs Omarr Morgan and Stanford Samuels.
Morgan, a BYU product, has spent his entire seven-year career with Saskatchewan and has been a CFL All-Star three times since his rookie campaign in 2000.
Last season, Morgan recorded 52 defensive tackles and five special teams tackles in 17 games.
Samuels, who played his college ball at Florida State, spent the last two seasons in Winnipeg. He posted 89 defensive tackles, ten pass knockdowns, one quarterback sack and two forced fumbles in 29 games with the Blue Bombers. He also has five interceptions for 61 yards and two fumble returns for 49 yards and a touchdown.
