Dec 4, 2006, 18:35 GMT
Regina, Saskatchewan - The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed quarterbacks Marcus Crandell and Rocky Butler to one-year contracts with an option on Monday.
Financial terms were not released.
Crandell completed just 19-of-30 passes for 201 yards after suffering a dislocated elbow mid-season. Crandell originally signed with the Riders as a free agent in 2005 after spending four years with the Calgary Stampeders, where he claimed a championship and was named the Grey Cup MVP in 2001.
Butler appeared in five games and completed 38-of-73 passes for 613 yards and five touchdowns. He will be entering his sixth season with the Riders.
