Two Roughriders among CFL Players of the Week

Toronto, ON - Two members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders were among those selected for CFL Players of the Week honors, highlighting their efforts in the first week of the post-season.
Riders running back Kenton Keith was named the Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns. The performance came during the Green and White's 30-21 triumph over Calgary. Keith also hauled in four passes for 28 yards receiving in the West Semifinal.
Keith's teammate Defensive back Eddie Davis recorded nine tackles, one knockdown and one interception on his way to capturing Defensive Player of the Week honors. The 12-year CFL veteran is in his sixth season with Saskatchewan.
Toronto defensive lineman Eric England earned Lineman of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. England made seven tackles and had one sack in the Argonauts' 31-27 win over Winnipeg in the East Semifinal.
Markus Howell, the Calgary Stampeders kick returner, was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Howell's 57-yard punt return for a touchdown put Calgary up 11-5 over the Roughriders in the second quarter. He ended the game with six punt returns for 125 yards and five kickoff returns for 141 yards.
