Simon named CFL Player of the Month, again

Toronto, ON - British Columbia wide receiver Geroy Simon was named the CFL Offensive Player of the Month for October on Friday, marking his second straight monthly award.
Simon, who was also the September Offensive Player of the Month, hauled in 21 passes for 302 yards with two touchdowns for the Lions, who went 3-1 during the month.
Toronto's Byron Parker was named the Defensive Player of the Month. The cornerback had three picks, one returned for the score, and nine tackles.
Edmonton offensive lineman Dan Comiskey was named the Lineman of the Month and Saskatchewan kick returner Dominique Dorsey was the Special Teamer of the Month. Dorsey returned 20 punts for 252 yards and seven kickoffs for 141 yards.
