Toronto, ON - Montreal defensive back Davis Sanchez, defensive lineman Anwar Stewart and running back Eric Lapointe were all honored as Players of the Week for play during the CFL's Week 17.
Edmonton running back Troy Davis prevented the sweep by earning Offensive Player of the Week accolades. Davis rushed for 189 yards, his first 100-yard day of the season, and had 20 yards through the air on four catches in the Eskimos' 28-23 loss to Toronto.
Sanchez received the Defensive Player of the Week award after a 43-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Alouettes 35-8 rout of Saskatchewan.
Stewart, meanwhile, had two sacks, a tackle and a pass knockdown in the win to earn Lineman of the Week honors.
The Special Teams Player of the Week award went to Lapointe, who had a team single-game high four special teams tackles.
