Winnipeg, MB - Kevin Glenn completed 20-of-32 passes with a touchdown and an interception as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers bested the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 27-23, at Canada Inns Stadium.
Charles Roberts rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 22 attempts while Milt Stegall made seven catches for 110 yards and a score for the Blue Bombers (6-6), who snapped a four-game losing skid.
Kerry Joseph went 16-for-29 for 264 yards, two touchdowns and a pick while Kareem Keith hauled in eight passes for 141 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 17 yards on nine carries for the Roughriders (6-6), who saw a three-game winning streak come to an end.
The first quarter ended in a 3-3 tie as Troy Westwood and Luca Congi exchanged field goals.
Leading 4-3, Winnipeg moved in front 7-3 on a 46-yard field goal from Westwood.
The Roughriders responded with a seven-yard touchdown pass to Keith for a 10-7 lead.
With 3:38 remaining in the half, Westwood connected on a 44-yard field goal and less than 2 1/2 minutes later he booted another, a 33-yarder, for a 13-10 margin.
However, just before the end of the half Saskatchewan surged ahead as Jason Armstead caught a 13-yard pass from Joseph for a touchdown and a 17-13 score.
With 10:18 remaining on the third quarter, Congi kicked a 26-yard field goal for a seven-point advantage.
Winnipeg, though, took over and strung together back-to-back touchdown drives. Stegall was the recipient of a 13-yard touchdown with 3:43 on the clock in the third.
Then, Roberts scampered five yards for a score and a 27-20 lead.
The Roughriders drew within four on a 40-yard field goal from Congi, but that was as close as they would get as Joseph threw a late interception to Omar Evans.
