Two Stampeders earn August CFL honors

Toronto, ON - Calgary Stampeders quarterback Henry Burris and defensive back Coby Rhinehart were each honored by the CFL for their play in the month of August.
Burris garnered Offensive Player of the Month honors after completing 64 of 101 passes (63.4 percent) for 860 yards and seven touchdowns with just three interceptions. Calgary went undefeated in the month of August.
Also aiding in that cause was Rhinehart, who compiled 22 tackles, three interceptions, a sack and two pass knockdowns en route to being named the Defensive Player of the Month.
Fred Perry was tabbed Lineman of the month after recording 11 tackles, six sacks, a fumble returned for a score and an interception for Saskatchewan in four games.
Kicker/punter Damon Duval of the Montreal Alouettes took home the Special Teams Player of the Month award after connecting on 15 of his 16 field goal attempts.
