Ranek, Rhinehart, Johnson and Duval earn CFL honors

Toronto, ON - Hamilton Tiger-Cats tailback Josh Ranek, Calgary Stampeders defensive back Coby Rhinehart, British Columbia defensive end Brent Johnson and Montreal kicker Damon Duval were honored as the CFL's top players for Week 8 of the season.
Ranek was a unanimous selection as the top offensive player. He ran for 164 yards on 27 carries and caught four passes for 69 yards, including one for a 37-yard touchdown, helping the Tiger-Cats to a 26-11 victory at Winnipeg.
Rhinehart garnered defensive honors after registering nine tackles, one sack and an interception for Calgary in a 23-7 triumph over Saskatchewan.
Johnson helped British Columbia to a 34-17 win over Edmonton with a sack and two tackles to capture the lineman of the week award.
Duval earned the special teams honor by hitting 5-of-6 field goal tries and two point-after attempts in Montreal's 31-7 rout of Toronto. He also averaged 52 yards on five punts.
