Tyson disappoints in ring return

Youngstown, OH - Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson returned to the ring Friday and began his 'World Tour' with a subpar performance against Corey Sanders in a four-round exhibition.The 40-year-old Tyson, who quit after six rounds with Kevin McBride in 2005, floored Sanders in the first round and followed up with a series of punches to stagger the burly fighter.In the second and third rounds, Tyson's punches became less vicious as he threw an occasional uppercut or roundhouse left but showed little effort as the crowd began to boo.After the fight, Tyson thanked the restless crowd and shook hands with fans before being escorted off the floor.© 2006 The Sports Network
