Wirtz re-elected as European athletics boss

London - Hansjoerg Wirtz of Switzerland was re-elected as European athletics federation president for a fourth term on Saturday.
Wirtz beat Norwegian challenger Svein Arne Hansen in a ballot at the EAA congress in London. Wirtz has presided over the continental body since 1999, and the new term is until 2015.
