Greek athletes mourn forest fire victims

Osaka, Japan - Greek athletes will be competing with black armbands at the world athletics championships on Sunday to mourn those who died in the wild fires in their home country, the national athletics federation Segas said.
According to the latest figures, 46 people have died in the forest fires on the Peloponnesian peninsula, some of them raging near ancient Olympia. Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis declared a state of emergency on Saturday night.
