Spanish pop singer Paulina Rubio is set to launch the largest U.S. tour of her career with 27 performances during a seven-week road trip. Rubio has announced plans to perform in Houston (where the tour will kick off), Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Boston, San Antonio, Hidalgo, and El Paso.
When asked why the concert was starting in Houston, Rubio stated: “Texas brings me good luck. A large percentage of my fans in the United States are here (in Texas).”
The singer is also expected to play several dates in Europe and then return to the U.S. in September for the second phase of her tour.
Rubio started her career in the music industry as a member of the children’s group Timbiriche, and launched a solo debut in 1992 with the release of ‘The Golden Girl.’ Her other albums include ‘Pau-Latina’ and ‘Ananda’ – her latest release. The singer has also been featured on several Mexican TV series.Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
