Soundtrack Review: ‘Jump In!’
By Jeff Swindoll Jan 8, 2007, 14:42 GMT

I’m not sure if the movie will have the numbers that High School Musical did, but the soundtrack is fun and upbeat.
The Disney Channel hopes that lightning will strike once again in that they’ve combined a High School Musical star with what appears to be another musical TV movie. I’ve only seen the commercial and am unsure if the film is a musical or not.
The story goes thusly; Izzy Daniels (Corbin Bleu of High School Musical fame) is training to be a boxer and follow in his dad’s footsteps towards the Golden Gloves. His friend Mary (KeKe Palmer of Akeelah and the Bee) is short a team member on her jump roping team and asks Izzy to substitute. Where he (in promotional speak) “discovers a hidden passion for jump roping.”
Well, the album certainly inspires you to jump around since all the songs are upbeat and up-tempo. Corbin Bleu and KeKe Palmer perform some of the songs. The tracks include “It’s On” by N.L.T., “It’s My Turn Now” by KeKe Palmer, “Push it to the Limit” by Corbin Bleu, “Vertical” by T-Squad, “Where Do I go from Here” by Sebastian Mego, “Jump to the Rhythm” by Jordan Pruitt, “Jumpin’” by KeKe Palmer, “Go! (Jump In! mix)” by Jupiter Rising, “I’m Ready” by Drew Seeley, “Gotta Lotta” by Prima J, “Live it Up” by Jeannie Ortega, “Jump” by Lil’ Josh, and “Let it Go” by Kyle.
I’m not sure if the movie will have the numbers that High School Musical did, but the soundtrack is fun and upbeat.
‘Jump In!’ is now available at Amazon. Visit the soundtrack database for more information and a complete track listing.

cool
The best songs on that soundtrack by far are Corbin Bleu's 'Push It To the Limit' and 'Where Do I Go' Sebastian Mego

Jump in is the best movie I have seen since High School Musical and it seemed more realistic. I found it to be funny, upbeat, and has mand great songs. It was also much better than High School Musical in many ways.
