I had a question:
There is a song that plays in one of the trailers for this movie that is not on the soundtrack, the trailer opens with this song, does anybody know it?
no but what is the end half song after each persons intro?
The song is from Kelly Clarkson, and it's called *Breakaway*.

there is a bunch of songs on the trailer when all the girls are showing what they do there is a song. SO obviously nobody knows what the song is the only obvious song is breakaway

The song with the male vocalist on the trailer is the acoustic verson of 'Time of our lives' by Paul Van Dyk (trance DJ). I've been looking for the song/artist for about 2 years and still haven't found it. It's not on the soundtrack. This movie looks like crap, my search for the song is the only reason I'm here.
he's right. it is paul van dyk's time of our lives. GO PVD!!!!! anyways... im pissed that they dont have that song on the album... they really should cause its so good. oh and btw... its not the acoustic version, its just the orginal version. the one that sounds like elctronic music is the PVD mix of the song in clubs.

based on the trailer, the sisterhood of the traveling pants movie received 2 thumbs up!!! so for the guy who is cutting down the movie before even seeing it, i trust movie experts more than i trust his ignorant opinion. did he even see the movie before commenting?...i think not. DONT PREJUDGE with lack of info!!! and dont be even more stupid to go online to voice your ignorant opinion.
personally, i plan to give both the movie and the soundtrack a chance!

I am extremely disappointed that there are none of the hispanic songs that were in the movie on this soundtrack.
'Time of our lives' is taken from Paul Van Dyk's 'Reflections' album and is co-written with the London based band Vega4. V4 have already released an amazing album called Satellites, and according to their fan site www.vega-4.com they are currently recording their second album. You can listen to some of their stuff on the site. Why is this great song not on the soundtrack? x

Yeah, it is. That beach run song is called 'Unwritten', it's by Natasha Bedingfield. It's one of my favourites on the soundtrack.

All the latin music you hear when Bridget is in Mexico is by the Kumbia Kings. Even the one that someone else said was sway. Its Kumbia Kings. You can find them on Yahoo Launch, look under latin music. The songs are Shhh and the one that says let the M.F. burn is Fuego. Yeah, i wanted to know too ;)

I really love this movie, it's the best for women and little girls who understand. I would give it 2 thumbs up! I saw it with my Grandma and my cousin and of course I ended up crying! It was very very sad! Well no one write back please, I just wanted to give my opinion on the movie! Thanx!

I found one of the trailer songs for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants entitled 'Your So Cool' from Hans Zimmer. This is the chopstick-like song you here in one of the trailers at the beginning, but it is not listed on the soundtrack. Cute little tune.

The song at the end is 'I Want You To Know' by Chantal Kreviazuk. The song when Bridget is playing soccer is 'Fuego' by the Kumbia Kings. The song in the club is 'La Receta' by Kemo the Blaxican. The song on the bus someone asked about is 'Un Elefante.' And the other song playing during soccer camp is 'No Sleep 2nite' by The Faders. Lastly, The song in the club when they first fet ther is 'Por un Rato' by Aroma. Hope all this helps!
i just watched the movie like an hour ago and loved it even though im a guy. that blake girl is pretty hott in this movie. anyways i came here like the rest of you trying to find songs that were not in the soundtrack.

The first time I heard about the film was when I was listening to the song 'Closer to you' by Brandi Carlile and found out that it was a track from the soundtrack from a film with Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn. the best are 'be be your love' by rachael yamagata (when lena runs to say goodbye to her greek boyfriend), 'black roses red' by alana grace (when she jumps into the water), 'unwritten' (the race).
