There is a song that plays in one of the trailers for this movie that is not on the soundtrack, the trailer opens with this song, does anybody know it?

The song is from Kelly Clarkson, and it's called *Breakaway*.

there is a bunch of songs on the trailer when all the girls are showing what they do there is a song. SO obviously nobody knows what the song is the only obvious song is breakaway

The song with the male vocalist on the trailer is the acoustic verson of 'Time of our lives' by Paul Van Dyk (trance DJ). I've been looking for the song/artist for about 2 years and still haven't found it. It's not on the soundtrack. This movie looks like crap, my search for the song is the only reason I'm here.

he's right. it is paul van dyk's time of our lives. GO PVD!!!!! anyways... im pissed that they dont have that song on the album... they really should cause its so good. oh and btw... its not the acoustic version, its just the orginal version. the one that sounds like elctronic music is the PVD mix of the song in clubs.

based on the trailer, the sisterhood of the traveling pants movie received 2 thumbs up!!! so for the guy who is cutting down the movie before even seeing it, i trust movie experts more than i trust his ignorant opinion. did he even see the movie before commenting?...i think not. DONT PREJUDGE with lack of info!!! and dont be even more stupid to go online to voice your ignorant opinion.

personally, i plan to give both the movie and the soundtrack a chance!

'Time of our lives' is taken from Paul Van Dyk's 'Reflections' album and is co-written with the London based band Vega4. V4 have already released an amazing album called Satellites, and according to their fan site www.vega-4.com they are currently recording their second album. You can listen to some of their stuff on the site. Why is this great song not on the soundtrack? x
