Hitman Composer Jesper Kyd Scores Double Album Release

The double album is now available for pre-order at www.lalalandrecords.com/Hitman.html and, for a limited time, you can get your 2-CD set autographed by Composer Jesper Kyd. The Hitman: Codename 47 / Hitman 2: Silent Assassin double album will be available from major retailers in July, 2005.

Presented here in its first official CD release, the soundtrack from Hitman: Codename 47 features Kyd’s dynamic blend of electronic and cinematic music - which he developed further on the darker, BAFTA award-winning Hitman: Contracts score - and is the latest collectable for fans of the Hitman games. The Hitman 2: Silent Assassin score, recently celebrated in GameSpot’s A History of Video Game Music: The Hitmen of Budapest, was recorded with 110 musicians of the Budapest Symphony and Choir. In 2004, the music of Hitman 2 was performed during the "GC" Game Music Symphony concert in Europe, the first event series of its kind outside of Japan.
