Howard Shore topped the list for his work on The Lord of the Rings, while John Williams managed to get 4 entries in the list.
The results were as follows:
1 Shore: The Lord of the Rings No 24
2 Shostakovich: The Gadfly No 48
3 Williams: Schindler’s List No 57
4 Morricone: Gabriel’s Oboe No 64
5 Williams: Star Wars No 111
6 Williams: Harry Potter No 114
7 Williams: Saving Private Ryan No 121
8 Shostakovich: Assault on Beautiful Gorky No 122
9 Addinsell: The Warsaw Concerto No 138
10 Zimmer: Gladiator No 157
'Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor' came in at the top of the 2005 Hall of Fame Top 300. Mozart was the top composer with 21 entries in the chart, followed by Beethoven with 19 entries. Click here to view the Top 300.
