25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee To Be Recorded

Kurt Deutsch, president of Ghostlight Records said, "It is an honor to work with William Finn, who is one of America’s finest musical theatre composers. We hope to capture the energy, spirit and fun that makes Spelling Bee such a unique theatrical experience."
Spelling Bee began off-Broadway on February 7th. Due to excellent reviews, the musical was transferred to Broadway and is set to open at The Circle in The Square Theater on May 2nd.
The musical follows 10 contestants (six actors, four audience members) as they battle each other to be the spelling champion of Putnam County.
