I was semi-disappointed musically. I think he has lost his melodious touch he had in the last five Star Wars films and instead used almost completely short mottifs. I was looking forward to a dark score, and he delivered it (every song is in a minor key); however, it didn't have the flare like ROJ did. It had the Imperial March theme only a few times, the same with the force theme; and after listening to all 1.1 hours of it consecutively, I never heard the emperor's themes, barely any variations on it either. I was looking forward to that... 7/10
