Sin City: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Details

Sin City stars Bruce Willis as Hartigan, a cop with a bum ticker and a vow to protect stripper Nancy (Jessica Alba); Mickey Rourke as Marv, the outcast misanthrope on a mission to avenge the death of his one true love, Goldie (Jaime King), and Clive Owen as Dwight, the clandestine love of Shelley (Brittany Murphy), who spends his nights defending Gail (Rosario Dawson) and her Old Towne girls (Devon Aoki and Alexis Bledel) from Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro), a dirty cop with a penchant for violence.
The dark underworld of SIN CITY has been captured in music by Rodriguez himself, along with composers John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Replacements) and Graeme Revell (The Crow, Pitch Black).
Miramax opens SIN CITY in theaters on April 1.

I heard the instrumental version is to be released on the soundtrack, for now the regular version with words is the only one available.

Actually, it doesn't look like the instrumental version of 'Cells' -- or any other version, for that matter -- will be on the soundtrack. Or at least it's not listed on the cover (which is viewable at Varese Sarabande's site).
I suspect it was just wishful thinking on the part of the Servant, hoping for the exposure. But as a rule, trailer music is never included on a soundtrack album.
I'm bummed -- I'd hoped it was true.
Man, I think the instrumental Cells from UK's (at least I think they're from there) The Servant is 'wow'.

They better have the song 'Sin City' by motherfuckin' AC/DC. That song rules, and its the name of the freaking movie.

Picked up my copy of the soundtrack for 'SinCity' today, and the instrumental version of 'Cells' is NOT on the album! The other songs are OK but ' Cells' is the Cats Ass!

Soundtrack is good! Has a very Jazzy Donnie Darko kind of feel, but the downside is it does not include Cell song from the previews. Perhaps a second version of the Soundtrack will arrive.

That instrumental version is just someone using a vocal scrubber and getting rid of the orignal vocals and it sounds like ass. Can't you hear how distorted it is and chopped up?

the song is not in the movie candyce...
its not gonna be released with the soundtrack...the trailer version has been available since april 1st
that really blows, they should have really included the trailer song, or atleast the servants should have released one themselves :/. Id really like to hear the instrumental remix one from the trailer though, the song is out there somewhere, its just unavailable to the public :(.

ah, all the soundtrack crap. It's just like when the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake came out and they used that weird song and everyone was flipping out wondering what it was. Hollywood, frickin put the names of bands on the trailers.

The Sin City soundtrack is truly one of the best soundtracks of recent times. It captures the essence of the movie and meshes extremely well with the cinematography. One of the best things about it is the way it has the 1940s sound with a mix of modern rock and techno blended in. Totally worth the buy...
The song when Hartigan was in the bar is called Absurd... its also from the Matrix Revolutions trailer.

I have heard one song from the Sin City soundtrack on the movie trailer. Whom is the band that is performing the trailer music? When will the soundtrack be available?
