2004 Chicago Film Critics Awards Winners

The winners of the 2004 Chicago Film Critics Association have been announced. Howard Shore's 'The Aviator' won the award for Best Score of 2004.

Robert Richardson also won the Best cinematography award for "The Aviator" in a tie with Christopher Doyle for the martial arts adventure 'Hero.'

 

Other winners include:

Best Picture: Sideways
Best Screenplay: Sideways
Best Actor: Paul Giamatti (Sideways)
Best Actress: Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake)
Best Supporting Actor: Thomas Haden Church (Sideways)
Best Supporting Actress: Virginia Madsen (Sideways)
Best Director: Clint Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby)
Best documentary: Fahrenheit 9/11
Best foreign language film: A Very Long Engagement
Best New Director: Zach Braff (Garden State)
Most Promising Performer: Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace)
