The Elizabethtown soundtrack has just been announced. The soundtrack has a September 13th release date off RCA Records. With the movie due out on October 14th from Paramount Pictures.
After causing the shoe company he works for to lose hundreds of millions of dollars, Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom) is fired for his mistake. Drew is on the verge of suicide, until he goes back to his family's small Kentucky hometown of Elizabethtown following the death of his father, Mitch, where he meets all of the towns colorful residents. On the way he meets a flight attendant, Claire Colburn (Kirsten Dunst), with whom he falls in love.
Artists on the soundtrack include Ryan Adams, The Hombres, Tom Petty, The Hollies, Wheat and Elton John.
