See What I Wanna See And Trailer Park Musical To Get Cast Recordings

See What I Wanna See features music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. The musical is suggested by the short stories of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, as translated by Takashi Kojima, and is directed by Ted Sperling, with musical staging by Jonathan Butterell. It is currently in previews now, and opens at The Public Theater on October 30th.
In See What I Wanna See their is a park, a thief, a priest, a psychic, a miracle, a lie, and the truth. From a mysterious murder in Central Park to the miracle of a devastated city's rebirth, New York stories of faith, loss and redemption are explored in this new musical by Michael John LaChiusa.
The cast of See What I Wanna See features Marc Kudisch, Aaron Lohr, Idina Menzel, Henry Stram and Mary Testa.

In Trailer Park there's a new tenant at Armadillo Acres - and she wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi "the stripper on the run" comes between the Dr. Phil loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband - the storm begins to brew - and this storm ain't any old Florida hurricane. Starring in the musical are Shuler Hensley, Orfeh, Leslie Kritzer, Kaitlin Hopkins, Linda Hart, Wayne Wilcox, and Marya Grandy. It features music and lyrics by David Nehls, book and direction by Betsy Kelso, set design by Derek McLane, lighting by Donald Holder, and costumes by Markas Henry.
