Angelo Badalamenti won the Soundtrack Composer of the Year Award for his score for Un Long Dimanche de Fianciailles. John Williams received the Prize for Best Original Soundtrack of the Year for his score to War Of the Worlds.
Vangelis won the Public Choice Award for his soundtrack to Alexander whilst Michael Giacchino claimed The Discovery of the Year 2004 for his score to The Incredibles. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
