Varese Sarabande have released the latest details of the artwork and track listing for their forthcoming ‘The Omen Trilogy: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.’

‘Together for the first time, all three of Jerry Goldsmith’s Omen scores are now available in this special 3-CD boxed set. The most iconic trilogy of horrific film music of all time, Jerry Goldsmith’s Academy Award-winning scores for the Omen films (The Omen, Damien: Omen II, The Final Conflict)have been giving people nightmares for almost 30 years now.

The story is well known. When Kathy Thorn (Lee Remick) gives birth to a stillborn baby, her husband Robert (Gregory Peck) shields her from the devastating truth and substitutes an orphaned infant for their own — unaware of the child’s satanic origins. William Holden and Lee Grant starred in the sequel, Damien: Omen II and Sam Neill took on the role of Damien for the climactic third film, The Final Conflict.

Included in the boxed set are the Deluxe Editions of all three scores, containing expanded editions of all three soundtracks and featuring remastered sound. Each CD also features extensive liner notes and a full-color booklet with photos from the films.

Featuring some of Jerry Goldsmith’s most remarkable music, bringing together all three Omen scores for the first time is a major film music event.
