The guys over at Kotaku have learned from their sources that Sony is hard at work on the redesigned PSP.
According to them the new PSP will be slimmer, use an LED screen that’s super crisp and provides a longer battery life, as much as four times longer than the original PSP.
The redesigned PSP will also include a faster UMD drive along with (drumroll please) 8GB of internal flash memory.
The PSP’s buttons and D-Pad have also been revamped.
Another interesting tidbit is Sony pondering whether or not to include a built-in camera.
Sony is hoping to sell the redesigned PSP for the same price as the current model.
A big announcement is expected next month at E3.
Keep in mind that until Sony officially confirms this, we shall acknowledge it as a rumor.
