Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks as the Doghouse crew wait for a bite

This week on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks, as the fishing season drifts into its fifth week the fight for the best spots heats up.

Britton Shackelford, Captain of the Doghouse, is in upbeat mood saying: “We’re headed out this morning feeling refreshed, feeling good, after yesterday.”

They strike lucky with a fish and after a wrestle they mange to get the dart into it.

The crew’s spirits are raised after they pull the 83” fish on deck.

As the Doghouse’s First Mate Caine Livesay says: “Any time you catch a fish it gives you a boost to confidence. This fish really means a lot to us, you know it’s gonna put us in the right direction.”

Meantime, Reels of Fortune and Pin Wheel get into some less than friendly rivalry.

Pinwheel catch a mako shark and lose the hook and bait as they let it go, but they don’t call in the bite right away.

Reels of Fortune Captain Charlie “Griff” Griffin is not happy that Pin Wheel is not reporting when they get a bite.

He says: “All we ask is you report when you get a bite. That’s the way it’s always been and if you gonna come here and fish with us you’re gonna play that way.”

Pin Wheels’ skipper Tyler is not impressed. Mocking Griff, he says: “You didn’t radio in your bite. Oh that’s not how we operate here in the Outer Banks.

“Screw you man! Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and start worrying about catching your own fish.”
