Ghost Adventures are headed to Guthrie, Okla., to investigate the Samaritan Foundation cult and its leader Linda Greene.

The building is an old jail and one of the first terrotorial prisons, opened in 1892. But the subject of tonight’s show is much more recent and involves an early 1990s organisation called the Samaritan Foundation.

Led by Greene who had seemingly total power over her followers and unluckily for them she also had some pretty weird ideas. For instance she believed that talking on the phone could lead to vampires tracking you down and coming to kill you.

When Zak and the crew arrive he immediately has a psychic vision, seemingly through his third eye he sees three figures in the basements staring up at them.

Zak explains he hardly ever has visions like that and it makes him all the more eager to explore this strange place.

They are guided down into the basement where they discover strangely marked cards, which the cult used for their dowsing rituals to divine truths and other information.

Greene is believed to have murdered her husband Allen Ross. She was never charged with her murder but one of the cult members, Julia Williams, was charged with being an accessory after the fact, for helping to bury the body.

That body was buried in the basement of home in Cheyenne, Wyoming and found in 2000.

Greene was never charged with the murder and she died of natural causes back in 2002.

The Ghost Adventures team have also invited a very special guest, the only person Zak says he know who can summon a demon!

Last week the team investigated a home where a brutal double murder took place.

It is worth saying that this cult had nothing to do with The Samaritans.

Ghost Adventures airs Saturdays at 9:00 PM on Travel Channel.
