Cool interview-I am not a tattoo fan but I caught the first one, it was interesting!
I watched and was extremely interested when you went to Long Beach and down to the old pike to Burt Grimms, that is where I had 4 of my 6 tattoo's done - brought back alot of memories. I am wondering what years you were there? I cannot for the life of me remember who did mine but they were all great work and now I am so proud to actually say I have had them done there ... I can remember Rick though and I feel honored to have known him.
Tried to watch this POS show, but he is such a baby and winer. Crying and getting pissed off at his old high school, throwing snowballs at the school, how old is this guy? Get over it, high school sucks for the vast majority of people while they are there, but you learn and grow from the experience. He now has a pretty good life and a wife that loves him and that is all due to his experiences growing up and in school. Be a role model and show people what you've done with your life despite the obstacles you had to over come. Maybe some kid in the same situation could learn from you that things can change and get better if you are dedicated and find your passion.
Hey Pop, I see your talking smack on Thomas. I just wanted to say you are as horrible as the school that is named after you. If you weren't so eager to hear yourself talk you would have noticed that he is doing exactly what you suggested. I'm sure you will take credit for that though. How about you stop hiding in your room behind your keyboard and do something with your own life.
Signed, years of being diddled by daddy Reed...
I watched the show and I absolutely loved it!! I wish Thomas would come to Lafayette, LA
I am PROUD of Tommy and his family. I always thought he'd grow up and be a Hellyan full of tragic stories and tattoos....Guess I was right! not that I had any influence on him. CuznDan 'SEASON 2'
Thomas P and Dustin Diamond should have a douche off to determine once and for all who is the biggest douchebag in America.
What waste of airtime! This show is about good as ' intervention' but a little more fake (If you could imagine that). Get real people, tattoos are an expression , whether they suck or not is purely up to the idiots getting one. nothing says complete loser like getting a tat on your neck.
I freaking love this show! I think Thomas is not only a wonderful artist, but a profoundly intelligent individual. I have watched Thomas on all of his other shows and when I found out that Tattoo Highway featured Thomas, I was stoked! Keep doing what you're doing, I think it's awesome and I can't wait to see the next episode. This last one with the widower (Trooper) was so emotional and very moving and I was so glad to see that side of tattooing on TV. That's what it's about for most of us that have tattoos. There's a story to tell. I only wish you were more near our neck of the woods (New England). Again, thanks for the program and best of luck to you guys!!!!!
I think this show sucks. They give tattoo artists a bad name, cocky additudes, know it alls. I just watched the show with the gothic apprentice had drawn her own ideas for a tat, and of course Thomas just pretty much told her that her idea sucked. The only thing he incorporated in the tattoo that she wanted was keys and scissors. That he needed to educate her..give me a break. All people are different, all tastes are different, and you could just see the disappointment in that poor girls face. Not to mention the other tattoo artist that works on that bus that treated the stripper like a piece of trash, being totally disrespectful to a customer and couldn't even draw up a tiny skull..geez. What I found that was totally hilarious is that they let the two brothel workers get the butterflies get what they wanted..which those butterflies had been done a million times on woman, but wouldn't do the goth girls tat the way she wanted, which if you saw her art work, I thought it was pretty great!!..The only two on that bus that doesn't have cocky additudes is the wife,(which he barley lets speak) and the female tat artist. I think they should ax this show!!
Just when I thought there couldn't be a tattoo show worse than Inked....this one comes out to prove me wrong. The entire cast looks like they're high on drugs if you ask me.
Thomas is a good artist, but this show has the worst negative vibe. Everyone on the show with the exception of Chili the driver and the girl tattoo artist are so depressing. Tommy should just put a bullet in his head. He obviously doesn't want to be on the bus and why is Monica there? She should be home with her kids. Thomas seems like his life sucks and he hopes this pulls him out of the gutter. They need to take some new meds and end the negative vibe from this depressing show.
This show is garbage! The tattoos these people do look like trash, the tattoos the 'artists' have are low quality and look like prison tats, and the their attitudes are just sh!tty. Like Tommy, or whatever his name is, being a huge d!ck to a client that happened to be a stripper. And Thomas's 'favorite tattoos' (as listed above) being the Ohm symbol and the upside-down cross to remind him to be peaceful and humble? IT'S BULLSH!T!! Inverted crosses have nothing to do with being peaceful or humble! The Ohm and the inverted cross are completely conflicting ideologies! HE'S AN IDIOT!!
I think Thomas is a total toss. He tries to sound profound and all spiritual with his indecisive religious beliefs. Not to mention that his opinion of art is the only right one.
Art is the freedom of expression and other people have the right to enjoy kitsch art if they choose, regardless of how repetitious it is to him or if that same piece has been around for fifty years.
Also I was totally discusted with him firing Chilli. He had no proof that the Guy was drinking. After fifteen years of friendship and no trust. I reckon he has lost a really good friend.
I suppose the lack of loyalty coincides with his lack of commitment to one religion.
Apart from his crappy personality, he is definitely a skilled tattoo artist. Unfortunately being gifted doesn't equal a nice person.

I've watched one and a half episodes and I think they are all stuck up snobs! It's so funny that these a-holes think they are so unique and living some kind of alternative lifestyle. hahahahahaaa!!!! Get over yourself!
Hi, do you ever come to the Seattle, Washington area? I have a large dragon tattoo in the middle of my back that I would like to get covered. I would like to get an idea of what the cost would be to get it covered; I watched the episode where the gal with the tattoo of 'Faith' done on her back was covered with a Koi and flowers and I thought that was beautiful. My email is michmccart@yahoo.com
Thank you.
I agree these people have bad attitudes. The only person that didn't was Chile and they fired him for nothing.I know why because they realized there was somebody better than them.I am just waiting for this stupid show to go away..
Hello guys, this comment is for Monica, for the first time I watched your show where your spouse Thomas is the tattoo artist, and I do have a comment, please do not take it the wrong way because my intention is positive not negative. Thomas likes to swap his work out, let him, that is what makes him Thomas, do not put a price tag on the trade-off he probably does not care about that, giving is the great part of sharing, who cares what others want to swap-in for, at the end is all about feeling well about what we do.
I like the show and I think that you are a good business lady, do your part and continue to support what he likes.
Please if you are ever in the south Florida area you can use my house (I have 2.5 acres) to park your RV and do your thing.
With well wishes,
Harley
