I love Cow DogsMay 1st, 2009 - 12:37:05

I watched this today on Fox and it is amazing. I am also an animal lover and I only hope that like the chimp that went nuts that this bear doesn't do the same thing. Truly amazing! When I saw him ride the bear it really brought into my prospective the true size of these creatures. I want to live in the middle of know where, everything is so crazy in the 'civilized world'. Please some bear take me into the country and make me take care of you. Getting mauled isn't so bad when its a good friend!

Good Luck bear man! Your friend is truly amazing! And your new wife ain't bad either! (meant respectfully).

Mommas don't let your puppies grow up to be cow dogs,

I loved this story. I too am an animal lover and I love that this man has taken the time to get to know this animal from day one and study their needs and habitat. It must be wonderful to get away from stimulus payments, swine flu, crime rates and bail out stories. I applaud your beautiful way of stress free living.

I have cats. they are 14 years old and sisters by birth, born together and stayed together for life. I look into their eyes and see the babies I brought home from the trash dumpster. I love that you can look into Brutus' eyes and see the baby you brought home. This is an amazing story.
YEAH,.........Still hot! lOl

Casey and Brutus both star in a film called 'Iron Ridge'. There is a trailer on the website www.ironridgethemovie.com looks really good.

I grew up in Western Montana and saw a lot of wildlife, including bears. Casey, your comment about respecting Brutus really hit my spirit. I developed a respect for wildlife a early age. I hope your show on National Geographic will help other people appreciate the wonder of bears and other wild animals. I also a lot of respect for you and the work you are doing.

I love this. After raising wolves and hearing so many silly comments from people about them, 'going back to their instincts and eating your kids!!' it's great to see stories like this, that show you, we don't change the animal, we change ourselves to accomodate the animal. That's the only way you can live with wild creatures, so if you're not willing to make some sacrifices, just get a hamster.

Casey, your love for Brutus and vice versa is so amazing. You are doing a great service to all animals by showing how we need to learn and respect their nature and their habitat. Please keep up the great work and I hope to me more of you and Brutus. PS. Give Brutus a high five for me, will ya? Thanks....

Dear Casey: I was truly humbled when I saw you with Brutus on the National Geographic Show. This is one of the most remarkable things I have ever seen! I have always been an animal lover and one day I hope to see you and Brutus. God bless you for the wonderful work you are doing! Do you have any shirts, hats, or other items with you and Brutus on them? This would be a good way for you to raise money for what you do for animals! One day maybe the politicians and leaders of this world will get it. We need more animals and less people and that will solve a lot of the problems we are now facing.
