i fear that what you are saying may be true. the end of last season was such a let down after all of the hype that had preceded it..this season, like the end of the previous season seems to be lagging...this whole trip from Mexico is taking so long im getting tempted to hop in my car and pick their asses up myself...still some time left however and it seems as though there are some good ideas for the future..if we ever get there
I have never really been into watching Heroes. But, after reading your thoughts, I don't think I will! Why would I waste an hour of my life every week watching some lame drama that doesn't leave the viewer satisfied?? I won't...and think you shouldn't either!
Finally somebody has the balls to tell it like it is. This is the most boring/overrated show in primetime.
I agree. It's a big letdown to bring back evil characters who have already been killed. A show offers no satisfaction when the evil mass murderer is still freely walking around, alive and unpunished, episode after episode, season after season.
who writes for the show is a failed comic book writer. I stopped watching the show last season around week 4. Yes it lags terribly and winds up nowhere all the time. The plot twists are ridiculous. If there were a build up and an ending for every episode it would be better.
Remember the incredible HULK tv series? Or the six million dollar man? Those were Super hero shows. This? I don't know what this is.
Couldn't have said it better myself Daniel Nasserian. Keep the honesty flowing. This show is crap and offers unoriginal creativity and lacks depth. Thanx for telling it like it is!
The geek audience here in the UK think Heroes is the best thing since sliced bread, but most have no capacity to see it for what it is. I gave up watching after about episode 6 due to being bored to tears with it. Every episode was Hayden Painted Derriere continuously pouting, Milo Ventigl. .oh forget it, continuously looking stressed, Indian bloke wandering around in dark rooms, blonde woman getting slapped about by her evil twin double while having no lines to shout except 'Where's Micha?!', Zachary Quinto killing people for their brains, Japanese geek time travelling because he found he could . . .No story whatsoever other than New York being destroyed in the future.
Purely as I had nothing to do, I watched the season one finale the other night just to see how it had progressed. And what did I get for 40 mins?
Hayden Painted Derriere still continuously pouting, Milo Ventigl. .oh forget it, still looking stressed, Indian bloke still wandering around in dark rooms, blonde woman still getting slapped about by her evil twin double while having no lines to shout except 'Where's Micha?!', Zachary Quinto killing people for their brains, Japanese geek time travelling because he found he could.
So much for any sort of story progression over a marathon of 22 odd episodes. And bring back characters who clearly died in the finale is just desperate. In the hands of decent writers it could've been a good show.

Amen. I thought I was the only person in the continental united states that thinks this show seriously lags. It's like they rolled up greys anatomy, beverly hills 90210, and the x-men in to one giant, boring show. I am so sick of shows promising so much, yet delivering so little. When I watch a show about superheroes, I want them to actually use their superpowers more than twice an episode. It just seems like they had a good idea, but they're not exactly sure how to execute it and be left with a great product for the masses. As for the zealots of this show, I think they continually watch and defend the show because they WANT to believe it is good and will go somewhere, but here is a newsflash: It is re-hashed drama from the x-files and other dramas fueled by the prospect of superpowers, minus the tights. In conclusion, if you want to watch a real superhero show, write the cartoon network and tell them to bring back justice league, only then will people like the writer above, and I be satisfied.
