From Monsters and Critics.com Smallscreen News Kim Cattrall loves London buses. The former 'Sex and the City' star snubs expensive taxis for cheap public transport because she believes it is the quickest way to get around Britain's busy capital city. She said: "I take the buses because it's the fastest way to get around London." The Liverpool-born actress - who has starred in a number of plays in London's West End - has even got used to fans taking pictures of her on their mobile phones when she travels by bus. Kim added: "For the first couple of weeks people would see me and pretend they were texting someone but I could tell they were taking a picture." The 50-year-old blonde is most recognised for playing man-eater Samantha in hit US series 'Sex and the City', which followed the love lives of a group of four women living in New York. Her next project sees her play Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe's mother in a new British TV drama for ITV1. 'My Boy Jack' will focus on the true story of Rudyard Kipling's soldier son, played by Daniel, who goes missing in action while fighting in World War One. Laura Mackie, ITV drama chief, said: "Having won the heart of millions in 'Sex and the City' as Samantha, it's a real thrill to welcome Kim to ITV1. "The part of Caroline Kipling will see her in a completely different role." The two-hour drama will be shot in Dublin this summer.
