Britney Spears Will Not be a Desperate Housewife

Britney Spears has been denied a cameo role in "Desperate Housewives."
Contactmusic.com reports the singer made the request but was refused by the hit show's makers on the grounds she is too big a star and would disrupt the storyline too much.
Cast member James Denton is quoted as saying: "Britney Spears' people have been trying to get her on the show and I can promise you that will never happen."
