Jerry Springer Set for UK TV Slot

Jerry Springer has signed a deal to present a show on the UK's ITV channel.Springer is being brought in to replace Trisha Goddard and her 'Trisha' show, with Goddard having been temped over to Channel Five.The show will be a similar format to Springer's own stateside show and take some element of Trisha's, where members of the public come on to air dirty laundry and confess to various transgressions.ITV says they are not expecting the sort of physical confrontations seen in the US version of Springer's show but spokesperson added, "you never can tell."You can expect see Jerry Springer on the channel in May and June, the slot is thought to be early morning at around 9.25am. Springer has only signed a one-month deal for the moment.
