Desperate Housewives Spin-off

"Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry has told TV Guide he is in talks to create a spin-off show.
He told the guide: "The network has saved an area for me when I'm ready to write it, but it's going to take me a couple of seasons before I have the energy/time."
They have not decided where it would be set but one idea is to send one of the teenagers from the show to college.
ABC says they would support any good ideas Cherry comes up with, but added it would a little while before anything concrete appeared.
