Christopher Reeve Among DGA Nominees

The Directors Guild of America has announced the DGA's nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television for the year 2004. Among the nominations is Christopher Reeve for his TV movie "The Brooke Ellison Story." Reeve, who passed away last October age 52, directed the film about an eleven year old quadriplegic who beat all the odds with the aid of her mother.The other nominations are Robert Altman for "Tanner on tanner, parts 1-4," Stephen Hopkins for "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers," Lloyd Kramer for "Mitch Albom's The Five People you Meet in Heaven" and Joe Sargent for "Something the Lord Made."The winners will be announced at the 57th Annual DGA Awards Dinner on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
